Recurrent Elbow Joint Dislocation

Recurrent Elbow Joint Dislocation - A condition called as PLRI- Postero Lateral Instability of the elbow is treated by Surgical Reconstruction of ULCL and RCL ligaments with Semitendinosis Graft and Anterior capsule ( Coronoid process) fixation with pull out fibre tape . Elbow joint fracture

 Road Traffic Accident or fall from height can cause injury to elbow joint - leading to Intercondylar fracture in elbow- It is treated by open surgery with appropriate reduction and fixation of bone fragments with plates and screws . These pictures show the same and are self explanatory.

Balloon Kyphoplasty is an excellent Minimally Invasive procedure done under Local Anaesthesia for Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fracture ( OVCF) . It gives excellent and immediate pain relief and stabilises the spinal column. Prevents kyphosis deformity. Always prescribe Teriparatide,calcium and Vitamin D in follow-up period of these patients.
