UCL Reconstruction of Thumb

A young lady of 34 years was suffering from pain in the thumb and weakness in pinch strength and grip strength , after an injury 3 months ago. She was diagnosed to have UCL ( Ulnar Collateral Ligament) injury of the MCP joint of Thumb. We treated it by UCL reconstruction surgery using EPB ( Extensor Pollicis Brevis tendon) tendon of same thumb. The photos show the procedure.
