Microscopic Discectomy Surgery for Slipped Disc and Sciatica leg pain Young Patient 34/ M, had large extruded disc in L4/5 level caudally migrated with 20 degree SLRT B/L and EHL 3/5 with impending cauda equina syndrome- Microscopic Discectomy done by Dr V A Senthil Kumar, Spine Surgeon and team, yesterday (27/3/25 )- This was 7 cm long single fragment disc- LARGEST SINGLE FRAGMENT DISC REMOVED ENMASS in my experience! Cartilage defect of weight bearing joints is a common problem. Osteochondral defect/damage (OCD) is a problem which causes pain in Knee or Ankle joints. We do a procedure called Osteochondral Autograft Transplantation Surgery (OATS), by Key hole surgery- Arthroscopic Surgery. The Arthroscopic photos and videos are of a patient who had OCD in Knee joint, who was treated by OATS procedure.
