Young Patient 34/ M, had large extruded disc in L4/5 level caudally migrated with 20 degree SLRT B/L and EHL 3/5 with impending cauda equina syndrome- Microscopic Discectomy done by Dr V A Senthil Kumar, Spine Surgeon and team, yesterday (27/3/25 )- This was 7 cm long single fragment disc- LARGEST SINGLE FRAGMENT DISC REMOVED ENMASS in my experience! Patient is comfortable and walking today- Thanks to Dr Naman Kandpal, my assistant surgeon, Dr Prof BS Murthy Sir for his blessings, Dr Manoj Dubey and Dr Tushar, our team members, The anaesthesia team, Dr Pooja, Dr Das, Dr Naveen , Dr Nikita and all others and the nice Nursing staff and OT technicians.

Cartilage defect of weight bearing joints is a common problem. Osteochondral defect/damage (OCD) is a problem which causes pain in Knee or Ankle joints. We do a procedure called Osteochondral Autograft Transplantation Surgery (OATS), by Key hole surgery- Arthroscopic Surgery. The Arthroscopic photos and videos are of a patient who had OCD in Knee joint, who was treated by OATS procedure.
